The biggest mistake a consumer can make is to hire a limousine service based solely on the "cheapest price". This could translate into an array of problems and a large risk to you and your guests.

These are a few things to consider when shopping for a limousine service:

• How old is the fleet?
• How well are the vehicles maintained?
• Is the company adequately insured and permitted?
• Are the driver's adequately trained and screened?
• Does the company have a drug testing policy?

Ask About Insurance & Permits

All limousines are required to carry commercial insurance and proper permits with the Public Utilities Commission and/or Department of Transportation. We carry a $5 million policy on our Limo Coach and all other stretch limousines and SUV's. We will be more than happy to provide a copy upon request. Please keep in mind that many companies have no registration with the PUC and do not carry the proper insurance. If you are quoted a rate that sounds too good to be true, ask about the company's PUC status and insurance coverage. Then visit the PUC web site to verify the information at www.cpuc.ca.gov/tmis

Ask to See the Company's Vehicles

It is a good idea to check out the vehicle you plan on renting. Many companies carry an older fleet of vehicles while advertising newer ones. You don't want to be surprised on the day of your event with a vehicle you were not expecting! Feel free to come by and view our beautiful fleet of late model vehicles.

Get a Contract

Companies that do not provide you with a contract may not be reliable. Upon booking a reservation with ARTIEXPRESS, we will provide you with a contract as well as any other forms that may pertain to your type of service. We will e-mail your confirmation at the time of reservation. Payment receipt will also be sent to your e-mail once your credit card has been charged.

Driver Standards & Drug Testing

All of our chauffeurs are professionally trained through our extensive in-house training program. Our Limo Bus drivers are also required to attend a commercial driver training program designed specifically for truck driving. In addition, driver records are pulled on a regular basis with the Department of Motor Vehicles and all drivers participate in a strictly enforced employee drug & alcohol testing and awareness program. All drivers are subject to random drug testing.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

Each and every vehicle is meticulously maintained inside and out. Our vehicles are serviced only by certified mechanics and detailed by professionals on a regular basis. We strive to exceed our customer's level of expectation with each and every trip.

Frequently Asked Questions...

Can I rent a limo for an hour or two?
No. Unfortunately, because of vehicle prep time, costs and travel time it is not feasible to rent a limousine for 1 or 2 hours. Most of our vehicles have a 4 hour minimum. In periods of high-demand such as prom season hourly minimums can increase.

How soon should I book a limousine for Prom?
As soon as you become aware of your Prom date you should book your limousine especially if you want a Limo Bus. Limos Buses are in short supply and are booked months in advance. Prom rentals minimum 7 Hours.
